Just finished reading it. Read it in one day. Hard to put down. Great book, has just enough intrique to keep reader guessing. I did figure it out before the end of the book. Keep up the great writing. Look forward to the next one.

Also, I have a new blog site - carlacassidy.wordpress.com
I hope you all will visit me there as well as here!
So, what's everyone reading these days? I've been indulging in a lot of paranormal books lately as I'm working on two vampire series.

It's been a while since I've checked in here. I managed to get infected - no, it wasn't the swine flu, but rather a stinker of a computer virus. It knocked my whole system out for a little over a week. When I got my computer back from the wonderful geek who fixed it, I was missing most of my programs so it took another week to get things back up and running the way I want them.
I hope you all have been reading wonderful books and will take a minute to discuss them in the topic.
I also want to…

Hello!
We had two glorious weeks of vacation, ate our way through a half a dozen states and ended up in Las Vegas where we lost what little money we had left. It was a wonderful trip and I came home rested and relaxed and late on a manuscript. So, for the past two weeks I've been writing like crazy and finished the book this morning.
After shoveling out the house, deciding to cook a good meal for a change and just taking time to breathe, I decided to take some time and catch up here and there b…

I've been missing in action lately, trying to finish up a couple of projects before we leave on vacation next Monday. We're going to be gone for two glorious weeks! For me it's going to be a working vacation. Deadlines don't stop for fun in the sun! I'm also planning on doing a little research for an urban fantasy story that has been whispering in the back of my head for a couple of years.
On another note, this month started a three-books eries with Harlequin Intrigue. Interrogating the Bride i…

I'm off to a weekend writers retreat! Each year my local chapter of writers plan a retreat at a local resort and we not only get work done but have so much fun! There's nothing better than two days of talking and breathing writing with people you adore!
I'll check in when I get back!

Today I was offered a two-book contract with Harlequin Intrigue. Of course I accepted it and am looking forward to writing the books! The first one might be the beginning of a series involving FBI profilers. I find that work, delving into criminal minds, fascinating and of course I hope to make my characters fascinating as well!
Anyway, it's always fun to be excited about new projects.
That's the big news from me for now!
